Applications and fees

How can I register for the race?
The fastest is an on-line application.
When is the deadline for registration?
The online application deadline is October 10, 2024. or after reaching the limit of paid applications.
In the case of vacancies, applications can also be made at the competition office on October 11 and 12, 2024.
How do I pay for participation in the Poznań Marathon?
Each competitor, after registering, is automatically redirected to the Autopay payment page. It is also possible to pay the entry fee in cash at the POSiR office.
Where can I find the bank account number for making the starting fee?
The entry fee should be paid via the Autopay payment system, to which you will be redirected after completing the registration form and logging in to your competitor’s profile. Then you have to select the icon: PAYMENTS. If you failed to make the payment in the above manner, we provide our account number:

Then enter your application number in the title of the transfer.
When is a bib number assigned and how can it be checked?
The system automatically assigns the first free number from the pool of numbers right after the entry fee has been credited. An e-mail notification about the assigned number is then immediately sent to the competitor.
Will I be refunded the entry fee if I cancel my participation?
No. According to the regulations, the fee once paid is not refundable or transferable to other events organized by POSiR.
Is it necessary to provide an e-mail address in the application?
Providing an e-mail address is obligatory. A confirmation of the application is sent to the e-mail address provided, along with information on how to log in to the participant’s individual profile, and after paying the fee, a confirmation of the start number is sent.
Can I change the size of the T-shirt in my application?
Yes. You have this opportunity until September 10, 2024.
Can I change the zone type in my application?
Yes. You have this opportunity until October 3, 2024.
I cannot start the race. Can I transfer the starting fee to another person?
Yes. You have this opportunity until October 3, 2024. and you can give the package to someone else. In this case, you must log in to your individual competitor profile and click on the button TRANSFER STARTING NUMBER. Remember that the person to whom you give the starting number must be registered for the Poznań Marathon, but not have a paid application.

Starter pack

Can minors participate in the Marathon?
No. The right to start has persons who, no later than October 13, 2024, are 18 years old.
Where will the starter pack be picked up and at what times?
The starting package can be picked up at the Competition Office, which will be open on October 11-12, 2024 in hall no. 3 of the Poznań International Fair, at ul. Głogowska 14. The competition office will be open during the following hours:
October 11, 2024 (Friday) from 10:00 to 20:00.
October 12, 2024 (Saturday) from 10:00 to 20:00.
Is it possible to pick up a starting package on the day of the Marathon?
No. On the day of the run, the Race Office is closed.
What do you need to have with you to pick up the starter package?
When collecting the starting package, an identity document or starting card must be presented.
What to do if I cannot pick up the starter package in person?
If you cannot pick up the package in person, give your starting card (a photocopy / scan is enough) or a photocopy of your identity document to the person who will collect the package for you.
What is included in the starter package?
The starting package includes: an envelope with the starting number, 4 safety pins, a sticker with the luggage number for the deposit/cloakroom, sack, timing chip, sponsors’ advertising materials. The package will also include a technical t-shirt if it was additionally ordered at registration.
Is it possible to ship the package by post / courier?
No. Packages are issued only in the competition office.
Where can I find the T-shirt size table?
You will find it in the application form.

Access and accommodation

How do I get to the Marathon Office?
Office location (ul. Głogowska 14, Hall 3, entrance through the East Hall from ul. Głogowska). You can plan your journey here: ZTM – timetable.
How will I get to the start of the Marathon?
Start location (intersection of ul. Grunwaldzka/ul. Roosevelta) close to the Sheraton Hotel. You can plan your journey here: ZTM – timetable.
Are competitors entitled to a discount on public transport?
Yes. During the inspection, you must show your starting number and ID card. The right to free travel by public transport applies to zones A+B+C and is valid from October 11-13, 2024.
Does the Organizer provide free accommodation?
Yes. Accommodation will be possible October 12/13, 2023 at the POSiR sports halls at Spychalskiego St. in Poznań. The limit is 600 people.

Start and route

What time does the Poznań Marathon start?
At. 9:00 am.
Where will the start of the Marathon be located?
On Grunwaldzka Street. Near the Sheraton Poznań Hotel and the Poznań International Fair.
What is the time limit in the Marathon?
The time limit to complete the Marathon is 6 hours. Competitors who do not finish the run by 15:00 are obliged to stop the run and reach the finish line by bus with the inscription “End of the Run”.
Are special medical examinations required to take part in the Marathon?
No. Each competitor takes part in the Marathon at his own risk. Nevertheless, we suggest carrying out a medical examination before starting preparations and before the race itself.
Where will the changing rooms for the runners be located?
Changing rooms will be located in hall 3A at the Poznań International Fair.
Can competitors in wheelchairs take part in the Marathon?
Yes. Check the types of wheelchairs allowed by the organizer to start.
Can skaters compete in the Marathon?
No.
Can you run with your dog?
Yes, but it must be on a leash.
Can I run with a jogger?
Yes, but please line up in the further starting zone so as not to hinder the run of faster runners.
What will be served at the nutrition points?
/ Water will be waiting for you at kilometre 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 27.5, 30, 32.5, 35, 37.5 and 40,
/ Isotonic drinks of the 4MOVE brand will be available at kilometre 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40,
/ Chocolate will give you energy at points located at kilometre 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40,
/ Bananas can be found at kilometre 10, 20, 30, 35 and 40,
/ Oranges will be available at kilometre 30, 35 and also at kilometre 40,
/ Coke will be prepared for you at points on kilometre 35 and 40.

Can a friend / friend assist me on the bike along the route?
No. Bicycle traffic on the route of the run is prohibited.

Finish line and results

Where can I find the results of the race?
On the website in the Results tab. Unofficial results of the Marathon will be posted immediately after the run, and the official final announcement will be published after obtaining the final results of anti-doping tests.
Will I receive my result via SMS?
Yes, each person who provides the correct mobile phone number in the application form will receive their result via SMS.
Will it be possible to use the shower after the run?
Yes. Each competitor can use the showers located in Hall 3A at the Poznań International Fair.

Are Marathon participants insured?
Yes, each competitor on the route of the run is covered by accident insurance.
What about my fee if the race does not take place?
According to the regulations, it will be returned to you.
