One of Poland’s best-known marathon events is getting ready for a special celebration. Registration is now open for the 25th edition of the Poznań Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, 4 October 2026, in Poznań, western Poland.
This year’s race marks the event’s 25th anniversary, making it a particularly important edition for both the organisers and the running community. As always, participants will take on the full marathon distance of 42.195 km.
How to register
Runners can register online via the official marathon website until 1 October 2026. After that, registration will still be possible in person at the Race Office, open on 2 and 3 October at the Poznań International Fair grounds.
Participants are encouraged to read the official race rules before registering, as they include all key organisational details. The entry limit for this year’s event is 8,000 runners.
Entry fees
The earlier you register, the lower the price. Entry fees are as follows:
- until 31 March 2026 – PLN 200
- 1 April–30 June 2026 – PLN 240
- 1 July–1 September 2026 – PLN 260
- September–1 October 2026 – PLN 280
- 2–3 October 2026 (Race Office registration) – PLN 320
Members of the OK Poznań programme are eligible for a 25% discount, while runners aged 60 and over can receive a 50% discount.
During registration, participants can also order the official Poznań Marathon T-shirt for PLN 70. This option will be available until 1 September 2026.
Race day
The race will start near the Poznań International Fair grounds and finish at Plac Marka, located within the same event complex. For this anniversary edition, the organisers are preparing a new race route, with full course details to be announced at a later date.
