The Course of the Anniversary LOTTO 25th Poznań Marathon

Runners will celebrate a quarter-century of racing over the classic marathon distance on a brand-new course. While the start and finish lines won’t surprise anyone, the route between them holds several exciting highlights.

The race starts traditionally on Grunwaldzka Street, next to the Poznań International Fair (MTP). After the gun goes off, participants will head toward Roosevelta and Pułaskiego Streets, then take Wielkopolska Avenue to Sołacz. Following a U-turn near Sołacki Park, the course continues along Pułaskiego toward Armii Poznań Avenue and Garbary. The route then runs along Północna, Kutrzeby, and Niepodległości Avenue.

From the Libelta intersection, runners enter the heart of Poznań. Highlights along this section include Cyryl Ratajski Square, Liberty Square, and the Old Market Square—where the Poznań Marathon returns after 18 years! Leaving the Old Town via Wielka, Mostowa, Most św. Rocha, and Piotrowo Streets, the course leads toward Lake Malta, then through the Rataje to Starołęka Roundabout.

After crossing back over the Warta River, runners will follow Hetmańska Street through Łazarz, Górczyn, Raszyn, Junikowo, and Ławica to Bukowska Street. Turning onto Bułgarska Street brings an exciting stretch straight through Enea Stadium, where vibrant crowd support from the stands will make it a key cheer zone. The final leg goes down Grunwaldzka Street to the finish line at Mark’s Square (Plac Marka) at MTP.
