Mohamed Chaaboud from Morocco and Celestine Temko Kwachuwai from Kenya win the 23rd Poznań Marathon.

Representing Poland, Andrzej Rogiewicz secured second place, while among the women, Izabela Paszkiewicz finished third, behind Argentine Daiana Ocampo.

Mohamed Chaaboud from Morocco and Celestine Temko Kwachuwai from Kenya won the 23rd Maciej Frankiewicz Poznań Marathon. Places on the podium were won by Andrzej Rogiewicz, representing Poland, who checked in at the finish line second, and among the ladies, Izabela Paszkiewicz, who ran to finish line in third place, behind Argentine Daiana Ocampo.

The marathon runners faced not only competition among themselves but also had to battle challenging weather conditions. Despite the unfavorable weather, this year’s winner managed to achieve the second-fastest time in the history of the Poznań Marathon (2:10:42). The next to finish was Andrzej Rogiewicz, who lost nearly eight minutes to the leader (2:18:22), while third-place finisher, Ethiopian Kifle Melese, crossed the line in 2:21:49. The women also finished with significant gaps between them.

A total of 3950 runners completed the 23rd Maciej Frankiewicz Poznań Marathon. They represented 33 countries.
