After the starting gun, the competitors will run towards Roosevelta and Pułaski Streets, and then via Wielkopolska Avenue they will reach Sołacz. After a turnaround near Sołacki Park, the marathoners will head down Pułaski Street towards Armia Poznań Avenue and Garbary. The next points on the route are Północna and Kutrzeby Streets, as well as Niepodległości Avenue. From the intersection with Libelt, a section leading through the very strict center of Poznań will begin. Along the way, there will be such recognizable points of our city as Cyryl Ratajski Square, Freedom Square (Plac Wolności), and the Old Market Square (Stary Rynek), to which the Poznań marathon is returning after 18 years! From the Old Town, via Wielka, Mostowa, St. Roch Bridge, and Piotrowo, the runners will cross over to Malta, and further on, through the large-panel housing estates of Rataje, they will run to Starołęka Roundabout. Just past it, there will be a return to the left bank of the Warta River, and the next fragment of the route will lead along the well-known section from Hetmańska through Łazarz, Górczyn, Raszyn, Junikowo, Ławica, all the way to Bukowska Street. After turning onto Bułgarska, an exciting run through the Enea Stadium awaits the participants. At the home ground of the Polish football champion, there will certainly be no shortage of loud cheering from the stands, which will become one of the most important fan points on the route.

The final fragment of the route will lead us along Grunwaldzka Street to the finish line, traditionally located at Marek Square at the Poznań International Fair.

– During the Poznań marathon, we always want to show female and male runners how beautiful our city is. Hence, such important showcases of Poznań as the Old Market Square, Malta, and the Enea Stadium are on the route. I am sure that October’s run will provide the participants with many impressions and give residents even more opportunities to cheer together and create the unique atmosphere of this event – says Marcin Gołek, Deputy Mayor of Poznań.

We wish you many wonderful experiences and invite you to register for the LOTTO 25th Poznań Marathon.
